The campaign aimed to provide free healthcare and humanitarian assistance to residents of Al Shidiya and Al Mudawwara, beneficiaries of Royal Housing initiatives, and members of the surrounding communities.
Zain’s participation builds on its continued efforts to improve access to healthcare services across the Kingdom, particularly in remote and underserved areas. Through its mobile clinic, the company seeks to reach people in their communities and provide free medical care and health awareness services, helping promote preventive healthcare and the early detection of communicable and infectious diseases.
This participation also reflects Zain’s commitment to supporting local communities and raising health awareness, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3(Good Health and Well-being). The company advances this goal through its sustainability management programs and initiatives.
The free mobile clinic provided a range of healthcare services to campaign beneficiaries, continuing a community outreach initiative that began in 2002. Since its launch, the clinic has served more than 260,000 people.
Its services include medical examinations, well-child health monitoring, oral and dental care, screening for communicable and infectious diseases, and follow-up care for chronic conditions. The clinic also provides health education on disease prevention and early detection. Cases requiring further assessment or specialized treatment are referred to by the relevant healthcare providers to ensure appropriate follow up care based on each beneficiary’s needs.
Alongside its medical services, the "Al Widad 7” campaign included field visits and home visits to families in the targeted areas to assess their needs firsthand and provide appropriate humanitarian assistance. This included the distribution of food supplies provided by the National Company for Health Insurance Management, as well as medical supplies, helping address some of the essential needs of beneficiary families.
Approximately 12,000 people benefited from the campaign’s combined medical and humanitarian services. Children accounted for 60% of all beneficiaries on the first day. Medical, therapeutic and specialized services were delivered in Al Shidiya and Al Mudawwara, as well as in Al Thaghrah, Al Jafer and Al Muhammadiyah. Home visits further expanded the campaign’s reach, bringing services directly to people in their places of residence.
The "Al Widad 7” campaign demonstrates the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors, as well as healthcare, humanitarian and community organizations, in expanding access to essential services. The campaign was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Youth, the Jordan Breast Cancer Program and the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, alongside several international organizations and media outlets.
Specialist doctors, pharmacists, nurses and volunteers also took part, bringing together expertise and resources to deliver medical and humanitarian assistance and reach as many beneficiaries as possible across the targeted communities.
