Under the patronage of HRH Prince Omar bin Faisal, President of the Jordanian Esports Federation, Zain Jordan, through its dedicated esports center Zain eSports Jo, in cooperation with Jordanian Esports Federation, concluded the University Esports Championship, which brought together 1,200 male and female players representing 10 public and private universities from across the Kingdom.

This championship comes as part of Zain Jordan’s ongoing strategy to support the diversification of Jordan’s economy, contribute to job creation, and enhance the role of this promising sector in the national GDP. Through Zain eSports Jo, Zain Jo continues to expand its investment in creative industries and to host and organize major tournaments that empower young Jordanian talent and showcase their skills locally, regionally, and globally.

The final rounds took place at the Federation’s headquarters at The ARC Esports located in King Hussein Business Park, where HRH Prince Omar bin Faisal crowned the winners of the EA SPORTS FC 26 competition. The finalists advanced after an intense series of qualifiers held across 10 universities, culminating in a final event featuring the top 20 male and female players.

Lydia Al-Efeeshat from Amman Al-Ahliyya University claimed first place in the female category, followed by Rawand Abu Hasneh from Applied Science University in second place, and Jana Al-Seif from Petra University in third. In the male category, Rakan Qabawi from the German Jordanian University secured first place, while Moatasem Al-Hajj from Applied Science University placed second, and Hamza Al-Sarayrah from University of Jordan finished third.
